I’ve known this mummy for must be nearly 10 years now. One of my closest friends growing up. I’ll never forget the day she told me (and the girls in our WhatsApp group) she was pregnant. I was in Sainsbury’s at the time and I honestly could have collapsed. I got to meet her baby daughter just hours old, and did her newborn shoot at just 3 days old, fast forward to 2020 and the whole family joined me down in Surrey to take some family photo’s in a beautiful field. Little legs didn’t fancy walking back to the car when we was done, and was giving her daddy and earful with the words “No daddy'“. With mummy and daddy’s approval I offered to carry her myself, forgetting I had with all my kit attached to me still (my arms felt as if I did 100 push ups the next day) but she was very happy as I let her hold my phone (sorry mummy) and we played and sang baby shark, Old Macdonald and some children’s songs all the way through various fields back to the car.
